Dr. Mark Chofla

As a board-certified psychiatrist, physician and executive coach, Dr. Mark Chofla believes we all have the capacity to improve our personal and professional lives. With over 17 years of counseling experience, Dr. Chofla founded Empathy Therapy to provide psychiatric treatment and executive coaching in an innovative manner. Recognizing the limitations in current mental health organizations, Dr. Chofla is committed to providing excellence in mental health beyond the current standard of care. After receiving his degree in neurobiology, physiology and behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla completed medical school at Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his psychiatry specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County General Hospital and the University of Southern California Medical Center. As a previous medical director, chief of inpatient county psychiatric services, and professor for the UC Davis Residency and Medical School Behavioral Sciences department, Dr. Chofla repeatedly demonstrates leadership excellence.
